Week 7 - Lighting Techniques in Maya with Arnold
Fig.1 - Introduction to Mixamo |
We did not do much today as we focused more on our final project. However, we learnt how to import and export an FBX into Maya. We had more lessons on HDRI images. In conclusion, we went through what we learned last week and dug deeper into understanding and enhancing techniques.
Whilst getting into our final project we were introduced to Mixamo rigs and how they could be used for a quick animation. This was an interesting website as I was exposed to many possibilities, which gave me a few ideas on what I wanted my final project to look like. We were then shown how to export a model and add animation to another animation to lengthen the timing.
In conclusion, there was soo many animations and ideas jumping into my mind. In addition, I was exposed to many more websites that could be useful for my Nuke project. I was thinking of having a flying animated object for the scene, however, I want a less complicated scene than a compacted scene to give me more control over Nuke. What I had in mind today was having two rendered objects in the scene and one image which would be camera tracked in Nuke. Overall, I have an idea and will be focusing on that this week.
