Personal Studies - Nuke to Maya and HDRI in photoshop
Fig.1 - Rendered in Maya using AOV's |
This was a very intriguing short process, this is because I wrote down all the notes from the class and compared them with others which helped me understand the steps that needed to be taken. I started going to photoshop and downloading the images suited for my scene. As shown in figure 2; I blended all the layers together and enhanced the sky lighting, then exported the file to Maya which I used as a skydome.
Continuing from my previous blog, after exporting my Nuke scene files to Maya I was able to see the locators and the planar positioned where the scene will be taking place. Following youtube, I was able to get more out of rendering layers and problem-solving shadow rendering, as it was not showing in my render view. At the end of the day, the process went well and I was able to get what I wanted out of Maya. What I will be doing next to improve is follow tutorials on AOVs and understand what should be input and how they should be used.
